For anyone who's not already familiar with Wompies' exhaustive knowledge of the connect between recorded history and the Bible,he was at one time a Christian, until he found so many discrepancies between the historical accounts, and the Biblical ones that he felt that he could no longer support the Bible as much of an authority on all that lies outside birth and death; namely, 'God'! I'm not sure if he's also an atheist, and the deets of course are his to relate. As an aside, it occurred to me a while back, that if you say that you 'dont believe in God', as many of us are quick to say, that you shud also then, be able to describe this god that you dont believe in, thus rendering your first statement invalid. Does that idea hold water do yer think? So, Wompie.... I was hoping to be able to raise Gator from the dead, in order that you could educate the rest of us in debate with him on Biblical matters, but I think hes a bit set in his ways, and will stay put. I will ask him, tho, all the same..... We do, however, have the deletable Catherine, who, if I'm correct, will be more than willing to put you straight on any number of Biblical issues, as she sees her task in life, as being to teach us all 'how it really is'... as she knows beyond a doubt that the rest of us are just wasting our time on planet Earth, and have no idea whats what! Womble. Never heard of a Womble in the Bible so it is obvious I have never studied or read much of the Bible, what I have read I have probably forgotten.
Have you heard of the Wombles of Wimbledon though, I have heard of them. Just saying.

Caskur, is a made up name, Catherine is the name you are usually known by, Wompie is a made up name but he is usually known has Trevor
It can all get a bit confusing at times Catherine, I am known has Jackthelad, Jack to my friends, but on here it’s Jubilee, but you can call me Jack if you want too. Just saying.

Never heard of it being banned. I don’t know about China, it is such a complicated country. Just saying. China is a country with a great diversity of religious beliefs. The main religions are Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Catholicism and Protestantism. Citizens of China may freely choose and express their religious beliefs, and make clear their religious affiliations. |

Any problems with that? As an ex serviceman I was called other things while serving. In the main I am called Trevor. When I am insulted I take it as a compliment from someone who knows no better. So carry on. You have nothing useful to say about the Bible. You don't even know the real Bible - just what you are taught. The JW's are known for forgetting the words of Jesus Luke 6:27 - 'But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,' If you leave the JW's you are ostracised by even those you were friends with. I know that from ex JW's. Do you believe the Nativity stories by Matthew and Luke. Would you like me to show you how ridiculous they are in terms of the time IN which, and background ON which they are written? I doubt it, it might make you question you beliefs. On the other hand - knowing nothing of the times you wouldn't understand anyway. |
