Those JWs dont like to be regaled with the sort of facts that wompie has access to - it makes them cross and slightly abusive even, to cover up not having the wherewithall to answer any of it... As Jack said, its getting like WW3 on here- great!

As Jack said, its getting like WW3 on here- great! You really do love trouble. I would talk about the Mormons but their smart suits put me off. The Christian Scientist Church was interesting until an incident occured that put me off. Mary Baker Eddy was out one day walking on the river bank when a blind man bumped into her. 'I'm sorry ' he said 'but I've been blind for years'. 'Nonsense' she replied 'Blindness is only a state of mind. Just trust me'. 'Great' said the man 'I will believe you, thanks'. He took of his dark glasses threw away his white stick, turned - and walked into the river. I thought about the Spiritist Church but was told I hadn't a ghost of a chance getting in. Islam isn't for me. I don't like to see women in clothes - I mean Burkhas. So I joined the atheists. Now I don't know what not to believe. Life is so confusing.

Was it one of those magic rivers that fix blindness?
