Well, I guess you lot are still very much in shock and saddened by the death of our Queen.
Condolences from down under.
Having a mother who was a Londoner and being named after Prince Philip myself, I think I feel it a little more than some.
I think King Charles' speech was excellent and will be of some comfort to the British.

Im 70, and shes bin there all my life, and tho I cant say I know her, its still a significant event.... Whereabouts in London did ur mum come from?

Mum was born in 1920 and lived in Coal Hill Lane Fulham. I think that area has been redeveloped and the Lane might not be in existence these days?

Mum was born in 1920 and lived in Coalhill Lane Fulham. I think that area has been redeveloped and the Lane might not be in existence these days? Ha!- my mum was born in 1920, too. I remember Fulham only from my time as a minicab driver in about 1972. I did the night shift 8-8, and it was always spectacularly colourful! Once Id saved up enough, I went to a festival in Houston,Texas!

What a coincidence 1920 eh.
Mum made it to 99.
I googled Coal Hill Lane and it's still around, 3 storey homes going for 1.4 million pounds. How times have changed.
