Anyway, would European men here prefer a wife from the same race or an Asian woman or stay single

It's the person that counts, not the colour of skin or culture. In his dairy, my greatuncle - Charlie the Chimp - 1 million times removed - 'wrote' how he fell in love with a Orangutan from Asia. They settled happily in the African Jungle and had many 'Chimpangs'. Of course we have evolved a great deal from then, but I was still called 'a little monkey' when I was younger. |

race sometimes matters and sometimes doesnt....Nobodys unconscious of someone of a different race to their own, so in a way, we're all racists .....
Id probably be in more trouble for calling a black person a coon, than they wud for calling me a honky..
I seem to remember that I wasnt so much aware that my West Indian girlfriend was black, tho, so much as that she was rather pretty,and fun to spend time with.

So long has they are Human and you both speak the same Language what does it matter what colour people are. I suppose in some cases religion might come into it but it shouldn’t, religion is the cause of most troubles in this day and age. Do away with religion and things would be a whole lot better on this planet, people whatever colour would get on a lot better.
Marriage or Death, give me marriage every time, i have tried marriage, been married 69 years going on 70 and don’t regret one day of it. Now death comes to us all eventually and you have no choice about it, but anyone who prefers death to marriage needs their head seeing too. Just saying.

When I was about 21ish a girlfriend of mine brought around a new West Indies boyfriend who was the blackest man I ever touched base with and instead of an American accent his accent was English. I was SHOCKED I can tell you...lol I wasn't expecting that at all. |

I am personally attracted to white men... I like swarthy too, I guess. I like blue eyes. I think marriage is hard and if you throw in another culture it makes it harder. But places like Jamaica where people have blended for centuries it isn't really an issue BUT Italians don't like their kids marrying outside the Italian race. Either do Asians actually. I think for breeding purposes it's normal to be attracted to men or women who will improve your genetic make-up. There is a few racist trolls on the Asian Canadian board who think Chinese are better than everyone. I don't subscribe to their point of view. |

I know 2 Japanese... one married an English immigrant to Australia and she lived a two hour flight away from him and my brother-in-laws nephew married a Japanese woman and when she got pregnant went back to Japan to have the baby. He had to chase after her and I thought, what is up with that. Another one I know of (but don't personally know) has done the same thing. I don't get it? There might some sort of Japanese government insentives to have your baby in Japan. On that subject I am totally clueless. Most other Asians are economic immigrants to my country ... they send money back to support extended family. It is VERY important that at least one family member comes to Australia to earn money to support their clan back home. I feel sorry for them. |

I suppose they were mainly Chinese if the board was part Asian. A bit similar to you when you are slagging of the Aboriginals, because they are not like you want them to be. I have a cousin who was Married to an Italian she was English, never knew that the Italians frowned on their citizens marrying foreigners. Gracie Fields was married to an Italian too, they had a home on the Isle of Capri, now Gracie was English too. In fact during the war captured Italian soldiers were working in the fields for our farmers. They had brownish uniforms with a large yellow circle on their backs. We had girls/woman working the land and they married the Italian prisoners. When Italy surrendered to us the Germans took over Italy, those Italian prisoners in the UK ceased to be prisoners in that respect and some chose to work down the British coal mines. In fact working down the coal mine was like the United Nations. Polish soldiers from Polands free army stayed because Russia had taken over Poland, Ukrainian, Latvian, Estonian, Latvia, prisoners who were fighting for the Germans never went back home for the same reason. A lot of them married English girls, there was even one German who married an English girl worked down our coal mine. He was a barber in the German Army, he cut my hair till he died. Arno Kuhle was his name, he came from Hamburg. Just saying. |

Just saying. there is a school of thought that wud say that youve also experienced death -you were in the same state b4 you were born, as you will be after you die. Now I dont remember that state being at all stressful, and ive bin married b4, and it was only OK for a year or 2; then it got stressful, so I think of the two, death could well be preferable. Either way, we dont get to choose, cos we all get to be born and to die. We also cant change the temporary insanity that comes over us, which prompts us to get married, so we have no choice in that either. Predestination rules the day......( I was always going to say that wasnt I?) |
